ELECTIVE STREAM ONE - 2:15-3:15PM

God always has something good to say. This elective is about demystifying the prophetic. The word encourages us to desire the spiritual gift of prophecy. In this elective you will learn some simple strategies to help you receive a prophetic word for someone that will encourage, edify and comfort them. You will be activated to prophesy in this session and will also receive words from others. Great for beginners AND anyone wanting to stir up their gift!

If you saw the President of the United States walk through your airport, you would ask yourself; “What’s he doing in town?” Imagine if you saw Jesus walking through your airport, would you ask “What’s He doing in town?” He wouldn’t be visiting your town just as a tourist, because He only goes somewhere because He has a purpose. Most believers have no idea what Jesus is doing in their town. This workshop will provoke you and help you discover what Jesus is doing in your town.

Joel 2:28 speaks of the Holy Spirit revealing much through dreams. Right now we are seeing an increase in this area. If you are an avid dreamer and would like to know what God is saying through them and learn how to interpret each dream, then this elective is for you. Dream interpreter Melissa Holmes has been on an intense three-year journey learning specifically about dreams and how to work with the Holy Spirit in unlocking their meaning.

In this session, you will learn keys to interpreting your own dreams and the dreams of others. You will also come away with a template to help you with your processing.

If we are to shape the future, then we must know the past. Come and discover the prophetic story of our whenua (land) Come and hear about how God prepared Maori through Godly encounters that occurred hundreds of years before Samuel Marsden brought the gospel to Aoteoroa, New Zealand in 1814. These stories and many more are part of Aotearoa’s history that are taught traditionally through oral traditions and Te whare wananga (Maori house of learning) You will be amazed as you see how God prepared our nation for the gospel long before it arrived, and how He has prepared us now for a move of His Spirit!
